在Year 9阶段学习德语会取得令人兴奋的进步,但也会遇到一些常见的陷阱,即使是很积极的学习者也难免中招。从棘手的名词性别规则到让人意外的语序,了解这些典型错误并知道如何纠正,对于打下扎实基础至关重要。在这篇文章中,我们将探讨学生在剑桥德语课程中最常犯的错误,并提供清晰实用的纠正建议。

1. Genders of Nouns | 名词的性

Mistake: Learners often assume that words ending in -e are always feminine, e.g. *der Ende* instead of das Ende, or *der Junge* (actually correct because it refers to a male person but still catches people out). They also frequently misremember the gender of common nouns like der/die/das for Mädchen (girl), thinking it should be die Mädchen, when in fact it is das Mädchen because of the -chen diminutive ending.

常见错误:学习者常以为以-e结尾的词都是阴性,例如把 das Ende 误作 *der Ende;或者虽然 der Junge 正确,但学生可能仍然疑惑。他们还经常记错常见名词的冠词,比如 Mädchen(女孩),很多人认为应是 die Mädchen,实际上正确形式是 das Mädchen,因为-chen 是中性小称后缀。

Fix: Always learn nouns together with their definite article (der, die, das) as a single unit. Pay attention to gender cues, such as -ung, -heit, -keit, -tion usually being feminine, -chen and -lein being neuter, and many but not all -er and -el endings being masculine. For exceptions, use colour-coded flashcards or a digital app to reinforce the correct gender.

纠正方法:永远把名词和它的定冠词(der, die, das)作为一个整体来记忆。留意性别提示,例如 -ung、-heit、-keit、-tion 结尾通常为阴性,-chen 和 -lein 为中性,许多 -er 和 -el 结尾为阳性,但并非全部。对于例外,可以使用颜色编码的抽认卡片或数字应用程序来强化正确的性别记忆。

2. The Verb Second Rule | 动词第二位置规则

Mistake: English speakers often transfer their own word order into German, producing sentences like “Heute ich gehe ins Kino.” The correct form is “Heute gehe ich ins Kino.” In main clauses, the conjugated verb must always be the second element, even if the first element is not the subject but an adverbial phrase or object.

常见错误:英语使用者常会把自己的语序套用到德语中,说出类似 “Heute ich gehe ins Kino.” 的句子。正确形式应为 “Heute gehe ich ins Kino.” 在主句中,变位动词必须始终处于第二个成分的位置,即使第一个成分不是主语而是状语或宾语。

Fix: Practise identifying the “first slot” of the sentence, then put the verb immediately after it. The subject typically goes right after the verb if it didn’t occupy the first position. Try rearranging sentences by starting with different elements (time, place, manner) and always placing the verb second. For example:
