In the CAIE IGCSE Spanish syllabus, the listening paper is usually Paper 1 and the speaking test is usually Paper 3, although your school will confirm the current component codes. Listening lasts approximately 45 minutes and contains several short recordings with multiple-choice, matching, gap-fill or short-answer tasks. Speaking usually lasts about 15 minutes after preparation time and includes role-play, a topic conversation and a general conversation.

You must read the front of each listening question carefully because some answers are written in English and some require Spanish.
