🇳🇱荷兰本科申请须知:
📍对有意赴荷兰留学的同学而言,建议先理清短期和长远目标。荷兰大学的综排并不靠前,但研究型大学(U类)直录仍然需要语言成绩达标。国内体制内的普高生不一定非得卷高考,更明智的做法是尽早转入国际课程。目前有部分荷兰高校认可高考成绩,不过并非全部;
🔓直录本科:需要提供高中成绩单、毕业证、高考成绩和高考录取结果(或国际课程成绩)。对于已经拿到合格语言成绩或国际学校毕业的学生,这会成为一种优势。通常3年即可获得荷兰学士学位;

Chinese Language and Culture
AP Chinese Language and Culture
The AP Chinese Language and Culture course and exam represent a significant College Board initiative to advance multiculturalism and multilingualism in secondary education.
“Through our world language programs, the College Board aims to enhance secondary school curricula,” noted College Board President
Gaston Caperton. “Current global events underscore just how vital it is for our young people to gain a broad understanding of other languages and cultures.”
This AP course mirrors the content of a fourth-semester (or equivalent) college Mandarin Chinese course. At this level, which immerses students more deeply in the language and culture of Chinese-speaking communities, learners have typically completed around 250 hours of college-level instruction. The coursework challenges students with tasks at the Intermediate to Advanced levels, with the expectation that they will reach proficiencies across the Intermediate range—and occasionally surpass it—as defined by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Guidelines.
The AP Chinese Language and Culture course helps students demonstrate their proficiency across three communicative modes—Interpersonal, Interpretive, and Presentational—and five goal areas: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities, as detailed in the Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century. The course is designed to offer ongoing, varied practice that strengthens all language skills, set within a rich cultural framework that reflects the depth of Chinese language and culture. Teachers design and deliver instruction that keeps language proficiency at the core while weaving in age- and level-appropriate cultural content. They also use frequent formative assessments to track students’ growing abilities in context. All instructional materials and activities are thoughtfully adapted from authentic sources to meet both linguistic and cultural objectives.

AP 物理C 力学 Physics C Mechanics
AP Physics C: Mechanics
The AP Physics C program consists of two separate courses — Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism — each roughly equivalent to one semester of college-level work. Usually, Mechanics comes first, and some teachers opt to teach only this half. When both are offered in a single academic year, teachers should allocate roughly the same amount of time to each. Throughout both courses, students engage in guided inquiry and student-centered learning to build critical thinking, while applying introductory differential and integral calculus.
Physics C: Mechanics covers six core topics: kinematics; Newton’s laws of motion; work, energy, and power; systems of particles and linear momentum; circular motion and rotation; and oscillations and gravitation.
Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, in turn, addresses five main topics: electrostatics; conductors, capacitors, and dielectrics; electric circuits; magnetic fields; and electromagnetism.
In similar college courses, departments often add extra topics—such as wave motion, kinetic theory and thermodynamics, optics, AC circuits, or special relativity. While wave motion, optics, and thermal physics are among the most common additions, there’s no consistent set across institutions, and they are not tested on the AP Physics C exams. The Development Committee suggests supplementing Physics C with additional material whenever feasible. Many teachers find that the best time to weave in these enrichment topics is after the AP exams, toward the end of the school year.
Both Physics C courses require a hands-on lab component equivalent to a semester-long introductory college physics lab. At least 20% of instructional time must be dedicated to active laboratory investigations. Every student should maintain a lab notebook or compile a portfolio of lab reports documenting their work.
Schools must provide each student with a calculus-based, college-level textbook for both classroom and independent use (supplemented as needed to meet course requirements). A list of acceptable textbook examples is available on the Physics C course pages of the AP Central website.

AP 物理C 电与磁 Physics C Electricity and Magnetism
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
AP Physics C is made up of two separate, semester-length courses — Mechanics, and Electricity and Magnetism. Most schools teach Mechanics first, and some instructors choose to offer only that portion. When both are taught in a single year, they should each get roughly equal time. Both courses emphasize guided inquiry and student-centered learning to build critical thinking skills, and they consistently use introductory differential and integral calculus.
The Mechanics course addresses six core topics: kinematics; Newton’s laws of motion; work, energy and power; systems of particles and linear momentum; circular motion and rotation; and oscillations and gravitation.
Electricity and Magnetism concentrates on five major areas: electrostatics; conductors, capacitors and dielectrics; electric circuits; magnetic fields; and electromagnetism.
In many colleges and universities, similar courses include extra material such as wave motion, kinetic theory and thermodynamics, optics, alternating current circuits, or special relativity. The most common additions are wave motion, optics, and thermodynamics, but there is no standard set of topics, and none of these appear on the AP Physics C Exams. The Development Committee suggests that teachers supplement Physics C with additional content whenever possible. A popular time for enrichment is late in the year, after the AP Exams have been administered.
Both Physics C courses must also feature a hands-on laboratory component that mirrors a semester-long introductory college physics lab. A minimum of 20 percent of instructional time should be dedicated to hands-on experiments. Each student needs to keep a lab notebook or compile a portfolio of lab reports.
Schools need to ensure that every student has a calculus-based, college-level textbook for use both inside and outside the classroom, supplemented as necessary to meet curricular requirements. Lists of acceptable textbooks are linked from the Physics C course home pages on the AP Central website.

AP 物理B Physics B
AP Physics B
Covering both classical and modern physics, the Physics B course builds on a foundation of algebra and basic trigonometry. Basic calculus ideas—like those tied to acceleration and work—may be introduced as they relate to physical concepts. The main goals are for students to grasp fundamental principles and apply them confidently in solving problems. To achieve this, the course centers on guided inquiry and student-driven learning, which sharpens critical thinking skills.
Instruction spans five core content areas: Newtonian mechanics, fluid mechanics and thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, waves and optics, and atomic and nuclear physics.
Since many college survey courses include additional topics, AP teachers sometimes choose to add supplementary material to their Physics B classes. A popular time for this enrichment is late in the academic year, after the AP Exams are over.
A lab component is essential, equivalent to what students would encounter in an introductory college physics lab. Each student should carry out at least 12 hands-on investigations covering a range of course topics, and maintain a lab notebook or portfolio of reports.
Each student should have access to a college-level textbook (supplemented as needed to meet curricular goals) for use both inside and outside the classroom. A list of acceptable textbook examples is available on the Physics B course home page at AP Central.

AP微积分BC Calculus BC
AP Calculus BC
AP Calculus courses span an entire high school academic year and are equivalent to introductory college calculus. Students typically enroll with the goal of earning college credit, advanced placement, or both.
The AP Program outlines two distinct calculus courses and corresponding exams: Calculus AB and Calculus BC.
Any school with the capacity to design a curriculum for mathematically capable students can offer Calculus AB. The course must include all prerequisites listed on page 6. Designed as a full-year course, it allows some initial time for reviewing elementary functions while still covering the AB syllabus. However, to be thoroughly prepared for the AP Calculus AB Exam, the majority of the year should focus on the differential and integral calculus topics detailed on pages 6–9, which form the core of the exam.
Calculus BC is an option for schools whose students have already fulfilled all prerequisites outlined on page 6. This full-year course covers single-variable calculus, encompassing every topic from Calculus AB along with extra material. Despite these additions, both courses are designed to be equally rigorous, demanding a similar depth of comprehension for shared concepts. The BC syllabus is detailed on pages 9–12. Notably, a Calculus AB subscore is also provided, calculated from a student’s performance on the AB-related questions of the BC exam.
Both AP Calculus courses represent college-level mathematics, and most colleges award advanced placement and/or credit for strong exam performance. Universities typically offer a sequence of calculus courses, and incoming students are placed according to their AP exam results or other measures of readiness. Each institution sets its own credit and placement policies. Because BC covers more content, it often qualifies students for credit and placement in a course one level beyond what AB would grant. Many colleges post their AP credit policies in their catalogs and on their websites.
High schools have flexibility in how they implement AP Calculus. The best approach varies based on local factors such as school size, existing curriculum, teacher expertise, and the level of interest among students, educators, and administrators.
Strong performance in AP Calculus depends heavily on a solid foundation in prior math courses. Before diving into calculus, students should have mastery of the equivalent of four full years of high school mathematics, covering algebra, geometry, coordinate geometry, and trigonometry. The final year should include advanced algebra, trigonometry, analytic geometry, and elementary functions. Schools may achieve this through various pathways—starting math in 8th grade, encouraging multiple math courses in a single year, or offering summer and independent study programs. However, skipping essential preparatory coursework just to get into an AP course is not advisable.
The AP Calculus Development Committee advises that calculus be taught as a true college-level class. When students come in with strong preparation, they are ready for the course’s demands. The goal for enrolling in AP Calculus should be to bypass an equivalent college course, whether via the AP Exam, a college’s own placement test, or some other recognized path.
