📚 IGCSE Cambridge French: Common Mistakes and How to Fix Them | IGCSE 剑桥法语:常见误区与纠正方法
Many IGCSE Cambridge French candidates lose marks not because they do not know vocabulary, but because they repeat a small set of predictable errors in gender, tense, word order and idiom. This revision guide identifies the most common mistakes and shows you how to correct them with clear examples.
许多 IGCSE 剑桥法语考生丢分,不是因为他们不认得单词,而是因为他们在性数配合、时态、语序和习惯表达上反复出现一些可预测的错误。本复习指南列出最常见的误区,并用清晰例句告诉你如何改正。
1. Noun Gender: Le or La? | 名词阴阳性:Le 还是 La?
In French every noun is masculine or feminine, and the article and adjective must agree. A very common IGCSE error is to guess gender from English or from the way a word sounds.
法语中每个名词都有阴阳性,冠词和形容词都必须配合。IGCSE 最常见的错误是根据英语或读音猜测名词性别。
Write ‘un problème difficile’ (masculine), not ‘une problème difficile’. Words ending in -tion, -sion, -té, -ette are usually feminine: la solution, la télévision, la liberté, la baguette. Words ending in -age, -eau, -ment are usually masculine: le fromage, le bureau, le gouvernement.
应写 un problème difficile(阳性),而不是 une problème difficile。以 -tion、-sion、-té、-ette 结尾的词通常是阴性:la solution、la télévision、la liberté、la baguette;以 -age、-eau、-ment 结尾的词通常是阳性:le fromage、le bureau、le gouvernement。
| Correct | Incorrect | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| un problème | une problème | -ème is masculine despite the -e ending |
| la main | le main | body-part gender is often unpredictable |
| une solution | un solution | -tion ending is usually feminine |
2. Articles: Definite, Indefinite and Partitive | 冠词:定冠词、不定冠词与部分冠词
Use the definite article for likes/dislikes and general truths: J’aime le chocolat, not J’aime chocolat. Use the partitive du, de la, de l’, des for an unspecified quantity after verbs like manger, boire, prendre.
